Passive safety system in the BMW 1 Series Coupe.The safety electronics of the BMW 1 Series Coupe react to serious situations with amazing speed. Crash sensors react immediately, deploying the belt force tensioners and the airbag system comprising six airbags (driver and front passenger airbag, head airbags for front and rear and side airbags integrated in the front seat backrests) at the right time and to exactly the right degree.
